Baby Loss Awareness Week is held annually from 9th – 15th October
During this week we work along with other charities to raise awareness of the main issues that affect those who have lost a baby. It is a special opportunity to acknowledge the brief lives of babies lost in pregnancy, and those lost at or soon after birth.
The week ends with a Wave of Light on October 15th.
October 15th is International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day. People around the world are invited to light a candle or candles at 7 pm local time creating a wave of light for babies lost too soon.
We invite you to join us and look forward to sharing more plans for baby loss awareness week 2018.
This year we have 2 awareness memorial displays – the first at The Goggeddan Arms, Tanygroes Cardigan, and the 2nd at Aberystwyth Crematorium Baby Garden.
Both displays are open to the public and will remain until the end of 15th October 2018.
We hold several memorials throughout the year.
